Umuahia North LP holds rally over Otti’s Supreme Court victory

Umuahia the capital city of Abia State was Agog Saturday, as the Labour Party faithfuls and lovers of good governance under the leadership of the Member Representing Ikwuano-Umuahia Federal Constituency, Hon. Sir Obi Aguocha and Mayor of Umuahia North LGA, Hon. High Chief Victor Ikeji held a victory rally in honour of the executive governor of Abia State, Alex Otti following his victory at the supreme court yesterday.

The people of Umuahia who came out in a carnival-like mood thanked Abians for voting massively for Gov. Otti and the judiciary for affirming the mandate as given by the people .

They danced and sang through major streets in the capital city as residents and passers by also joined in the celebration.

Some of the residents who joined the celebration said they did not regret voting for the governor. ”He has started well and we know he will finish strong.” The entire state, especially Umuahia and Aba is dotted with infrastructural projects in a manner never seen before in the state, they also said.

They als appreciated the Mayor of Umuahia North LGA Victor Ikeji for deeming it fit to celebrate with the common people on the street of Umuahia, while also thanking Hon. Obi Aguocha for supporting the rally.

They said like the governor, he has also started well and it’s very evident that the Labour Party government is a clear departure from the old order.

The People of Umuahia expressed their continuous support for the governor and the Labour Party.
