Southern Nigeria youths under the aegis of Southern Nigeria Youth Assembly have thrown their weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over fuel subsidy removal, stating that if well implemented, it will be beneficial to the economy of the country.

Rising from their congress yesterday, the youths urged the president to ensure that the benefits accruing from the subsidy must be well utilized.

In a communique they issued through their National President, Engr Njoku Moses Chuks, they aligned themselves with the policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, but pleaded with him to accommodate more southerners in his cabinet, including Nyesom Wike, Okezie Ikpeazu, Donald Duke and Mrs. Betta C. Edu, the All Progressive Congress, APC National Woman Leader in his cabinet.

These Nigerians, they said “are worth Ministers of the the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.

They expressed their confidence that these Nigerians will definitely add value to the renewed hope of the President Bola Tinubu.

The group further passed a vote of confidence on Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio and urged him not to disappoint the southern Nigeria as the Senate President.
