Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu’s quality projects in the Abia North Senatorial District have continued to project the senator who is representing the constituency at the National Assembly.
Accordingly, the immediate past Deputy Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu has commended the federal lawmaker over the numerous projects in and beyond the Abia North constituency.
Uchendu had in a statement he issued on Thursday in Abuja, said Kalu, who is a former Abia state governor, should be commended and supported by all over his massive achievements since he was elected as the lawmaker representing Abia North Senatorial District, stating, “The qualities of legislative representation transcends the ability to move motions, and sponsor bills that will bring about the wellbeing of the people they represent”.
Uchendu noted, “However, it is heartwarming to note that the Senator Representing Abia North Senatorial District, Senator Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has gone beyond his primary assignment of law making to give the people dividends of democracy which are being brought to the doorsteps of the people of Abia North.
“There is ample evidence of projects strategically put in place in Abia North District courtesy of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and one of those projects includes Classroom Blocks delivered by ‘OUK’ which are being commissioned at various locations across the Senatorial Districts.
“It’s on record that our Senator has attracted the renovations of over 20 Schools and has fully constructed others including one at Ebem Primary School, Ebem Ohafia, Amaekpu Community School, Amaekpu Ohafia and others in Ohafia South.
“Aside the classroom blocks, the infrastructural development been witnessed in the Abia North is one which can only be brought into existence by a man with a great vision and plan for the people.
“This were exactly what we tried to do while representing our people at the state assembly. It is therefore a thing of joy to note that we have a project minded law maker as His Excellency, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu at the Senate.
“I am so thankful to our Senator for being a true representative of his people via the many Motions, Bills sponsored and including the many developmental projects initiated by him which are scattered all over the Senatorial District.
“Kudos to you our Project Senator. We are happy with your quality representation and we expect more from you.”
