Children in Umuahia and beyond have been having fun, feeling the 2023 Christmas mood, courtesy of CONNAK Foundation through its Children’s Fun Paradise program for children.

Over 3000 kids are being targeted to be treated to several fun games found in most advanced cities and counties in the world, including swimming, bubble balloon fights, balloon house games, and mascots including spiderman, mickey mouse, and batman, among others.

Speaking on the two-day children occasion, the General Manager, Connak Foundation, Rosemary Etsiame said the Foundation is involved in children issues for over eleven years and that the Fun Paradise is an initiative towards child development.

“We want to give to the children social inclusiveness”, she said noting that Umuahia is devoid of amusement parks for children, hence the need to make them to also feel the belonging and to feel physically what the see in films.

She said the event that is now an annual event, has no class interference in terms of sex, age or any social conditions adding that the 25th day of every year is celebrated as Founder’s Day and where beneficiaries of the Foundation’s entrepreneural trainings are also graduated.

The GM said 2023 skills acquisition graduands numbering over 392 will soon be passed out as the Foundation celebrates its 11th year milestone during the founder’s birthday next month.

She used the occasion to advise children that they can achieve whatever the focus their mind on and therefore should be obedient to their parents and guardians wherever they found themselves.
