Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency youths say, they are regretting that past politicians use and dump them.
The youths spoke when they paid an unscheduled visit to the constituency aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party, PDP hopeful, John K. Nwadinobi, and expressed their conviction that in Nwadinobi. “We have found what we want”.
The youths, some of who are statutory delegates assured that Nwadinobi will be victorious this time, adding “it will be difficulty but he will succeed.”
These stakeholders who also control delegates of Umuahia North, Ikwuano and Umuahia South said “our meeting with you is borne out of passion and now left for us youths. We are tired of delivering people only for them to go live in Abuja and ignore us.
They assured him of their partnership and support, urging him to continue consultations with their Ibeku brothers, who they said are massively in support of him.
According to Ikwuano representative of the youths, “people are now out with anger as past representatives didn’t do well”, assuring “we are ready to work with you”.
“Constituents are aware it is Ohuhu turn” they further said and promised to gather delegates for him”.
The Ibeku section of the visitors informed, “You have no other contender except one of our brothers”, adding “but regretting he is not supposed to contest” adding “people have sympathy for you now”.
Responding. John K. Nwadinobi appreciated them for their support and assured to work with them.
While promising to consult according to their advice, Nwadinobi said “interest group defeated me, not Onuigbo, recalling that he was the first to congratulate Onuigbo during the last primaries in the spirit of sportsmanship, as well as campaigning for him.
He said he is going to do something different in order to see good representation.
