Sen. Godswill Obot Akpabio has been strongly advised to kill his senate Presidency ambition in favour of a more qualified candidate.
Some hours ago according to report obtained from the Phoenix App, Kalabari kingdom’s Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo was live on Facebook to urge senator Godswill Obot Akpabio to have a rethink regarding his intention to become the next Nigerian senate’s president.
The former niger-delta militant had said, “I think Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio should go and meet our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. During the meeting, he should tell President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that he is no longer contesting to be the senate president.
“Godswill Akpabio needs to die his ambition in the interest of the success of the administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
Speaking further, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo noted, “although I am not a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) but I am saying this for the general good of all Nigerians.”
Lastly, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo said, “Godswill Akpabio knows that his ambition will not help the cause of the people or the president.
“What will rather help the administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is an all-inclusive government where all regions come together and get well represented.”
