An advice has been sent out to the Abia State governor-elect, Dr. Alex Otti to stop attacking the incumbent governor, Okezie Ikpeazu on his resolve to bring governance to the grassroot in the state.
A leading Peoples Democratic Party, PDP chairmanship aspirants in Umunneochi LGA of the state in the forthcoming May 2023 L.G.A election Sir Comrade V. Chukwudi Ngwu, popularly known as “Nothing Pass God” stated this when leaders of Umunneochi PDP politics led him to the PDP secretariat in Umuahia to submit his chairmanship nomination form.
He called on the incoming Governor of Abia State – Dr Alex Otti instead to encourage and appreciate the outgoing governor, Okezie Ikpeazu on his determination to conduct the L.G.A election for the 3rd time since the inception of his administration, “rather than attacking the sitting Governor’s resolve to bring governance to the grass root”.
He commended Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu for being the only Governor in Nigeria to conduct local government elections during his tenure as a governor for the 3rd time.
Comrade Ngwu used the opportunity to plead with his people to support him in his bid to become the next Umunneochi LGA chairman.
