An astute Businessman and philanthropist, Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso, has called for a shift from rhetoric to political action, while urging Abia State residents to prioritize voter registration over social media accolades to sustain the current Alex Otti-led administration’s progress in the state.

In an inspiring February, 2029 message he released to the public on Monday, Anyaso who is the Chairman of CAADES Group and founder of the Chima Anyaso Foundation emphasized that while Gov. Alex Otti’s “exemplary works” deserve recognition, admiration alone is insufficient to guarantee political continuity, stating, “actions speak louder than (social media) posts”.
Referencing his recent participation in the Ukwa La Ngwa bloc’s reception and endorsement of Gov. Otti for a second term, Anyaso noted that such gatherings are symbolic rather than decisive.
He advised Abia electorates, “such gatherings and big statements alone, do not win elections. It is indeed the PVCs that do. Faith without work, is dead”.
“My message serves as a strategic clarion call to the electorate, reminding them that the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) remains the only valid instrument for expressing political will”, he said and encouraged those who have not yet registered to take advantage of the ongoing continuous registration process.
Anyaso’s influence through “Ofuji Movement” carries significant weight in the region, and as the leader of the Movement, he commands one of Abia State’s most formidable political structures, featuring 18-man ward executives across every ward in the state.
By mobilizing his “PVC-carrying members”, Anyaso is also positioning his movement as a cornerstone of support for the governor’s agenda, under the mantra, “We shall never go back, every step we take is forward ever”.
Passing a message of “Civic Love” that is beyond the political directive, Anyaso maintains a tone of communal warmth, marking the start of February as a month for “exchange of love and joy”, and urged citizens to remain productive and impactful in their daily pursuits, while never losing sight of their civic responsibilities.
“Life appears seamless as we engage in our daily pursuits, let us continue to share love and joy together,” he concluded.
