Abians have seen enough and had enough suffering, but Prof. Greg Ibe has the capacity to clean the mess and deliver the state.
The wife of Prof. Greg Ibe, the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA governorship candidate in the 2023 election in Abia, Lolo Joy Ibe stated this in Umuahia during an interaction with Unique Ladies for Greg Ibe, noting, “Abians have seen enough and suffered so much. It is time to liberate the state.
She said further, “Ibe has come to heal Abians of their sufferings, bring education, development and infrastructure to them, hence my stand with him”.
She assured, “I will not let women down as the first lady. I am not there for money, but for the welfare of Abians, especially women. We have to deliver him through the people, communities and churches. He is the answer to Abia problems.”
She said she has concrete plans for women which God will help her to do, adding that it worries her that even at the state House of Assembly, no women is there as a lawmaker and vowed to make the Abia woman not to be scared of active participation in politics in the state and beyond.
Earlier, the facilitator of the occasion and Special Aide to Prof. Greg Ibe, Christian Ufondu described women as “vote casters, shakers and movers of Abia politics” who has much to do as “Ibe cannot afford to lose the election”.
According to him, “Greg Ibe has the capacity to deliver Abia State, especially considering what he has done in the state as the highest investor and employer of labour.
In her speech, the Coordinator of the Unique Ladies for Greg Ibe, Mrs. Chinyere Ogbonna declared the resolve of the women to ensure that the APGA gubernatorial candidate Ibe wins the guber election in the state in 2023 through aggressive and consistent door-to-door sensitization and campaign.
Lolo Joy Ibe later gave the women bags of rice, garri and beans, as well as customized APGA wrappers and cash.
