The Chief Whip of the Senate and Senator representing Abia North at the National Assembly, Orji Uzor Kalu says he is excited over 35 additional road projects he attracted to his constituency.
Confirming the report Saturday, the Abia North Senator who spoke with journalists at his Abuja residence expressed delight at the road projects he facilitated through the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency, FERMA in the 2022 budget.
The road projects are located across the local government areas of the district with others in the Southern and Central Senatorial Districts as well as other states in the south east.
Apart from those in his constituency, others in other senatorial zones include the construction of road with asphalt and drainage in Amaugwu-Uratta Umuoha Road IsialaNgwa North L.G.A, and the construction of road with asphalt and drainage at Chief Dennis Okafor Road in Enugu State.
Sen. Kalu urged other senators to restore confidence of their people, their states and the entire south east by being good to them through such projects like roads that touch their daily lives.
He assured he will continue to deliver democracy dividend to his constituents till his last day in office as senator.
